Alain Dupasquier, designer of garden and indoors furniture in chestnutwood, is a contemporary successor to Limousin feuillardiers.

Limousin chestnutwood is durable et particularly adapted for outdoor furniture. It resists to insects and to weathering and left untreated outside rapidly acquires a silvery-grey patina.
It's high tannin content makes it naturally resistant to rotting and renders unnecessary a preventive chemical treatment.

Alain Dupasquier's furniture is made in function of the esthetical and mechanical properties of the wood.  He perpetuates an artisanal fabrication in harmony with the matter, in a spirit of equitable and proche commerce, using a local and ecological ressource.
