Created in 2000, the artisanal enterprise AB Forêt has always oriented its' work to employing non-treated and locally-sourced timber taken within a rayon of 50km.

In 2003, the takeover of the Company Ets. Faure at St. Laurent sur Gorre permitted a diversification to : Ancient flooring, parquetry, wall-panelling, terrace planks, exterior boarding. And it stimulated the production of new models of outdoor furniture, tables, benches, 'Castanevia' boardwalk ..

In 2008, AB Forêt expanded its' production and stockage surface (800m2) and its' development by installing a small drying kiln fired by the burning of the workshop's waste wood.
